Smush was founded by two friends—Phil, a restaurant marketer, and Alpesh, an executive chef—who first met on the street food scene back in 2017. After launching a handful of successful food brands together, they set their sights on something new: taking an ingredient that’s usually seen as a bit fancy for home cooking and making it accessible for everyone.
Countless kitchen experiments, shared meals, and a mutual obsession with elevating the everyday led to the creation of their confit garlic product. It’s packed with versatility, depth, and serious flavour—designed to work with whatever cuisine you’re cooking. But they weren’t just chasing delicious; they wanted something you’d actually reach for every time you step into the kitchen
